It cannot be denied that Ericksonian Hypnosis is a wonderful thing for many people who are interested in Hypnosis therapeutic purposes.

But no matter what type of catching title those forms of hypnosis are attached to, they simply do not do not have any value in The Art of Persuasion.

Why exactly is this? Because Milton Erickson invented a his hypnosis in a clinical environment, and it needs a clinical environment to survive in. You cannot take a shark out of the ocean because the shark needs its environment to survive in. Likewise, Ericksonian hypnosis needs a therapeutic environment to survive in as well.

It's hard to believe that some hypnotist were so greedy for some extra cash that they repackaged the magnificent, therapeutic works of Dr. Milton Erickson and falsely sold them under the names of "mind control" and "persuasion".

Well, the male seduction community tried to use the Milton Ericksonian Hypnosis model on women, and it failed miserably--almost turning the community into a laughing stock. This is why the male seduction community no longer even worries about learning or practicing language patterns.

The recent trend in persuasion circles and seduction communities is mastering how to demonstrate behavior patterns and practice social strategies.
