Enjoy every minute of your wedding day by careful planning ahead of time. It is best to start wedding arrangements for a large wedding 8 to 12 months before the wedding date. Having plenty of time to plan a wedding relieves stress and gives you time to plan; however, successful weddings have been planned in less time. Follow a wedding timetable in order to complete tasks in an orderly and reasonable amount of time. A wedding timetable breaks down tasks by weeks, months and days before the wedding.

Delegating tasks to family and friends will help get them involved and take some of the pressure of wedding planning off of you. Don't hesitate to ask for ideas and opinions. Just remember, it is up to you whether you want to use an idea or not. The good thing about getting input is that more ideas help you make more informed decisions. In doing research you will collect photos, cloth samples, receipts, and business cards. It is important to create an organized place to store and access your information.

A ring binder with tabs is an ideal organizer for wedding ideas and plans. Label each category of things to do to prepare for your wedding, from choosing and altering your dress to your photographer and florist. This keeps all the information handy and easy to access.

A scrapbook of friends' weddings, magazine images, and website ideas and pictures is also helpful. This will help you decide what coordinates with your wedding theme and colors. You may also pick up creative ideas to add a special touch that you would not otherwise have thought of. It is fine to borrow ideas for your wedding, to make it uniquely your own.

As part of your organization, keep a list of the most important aspects of your wedding, such as the venue, entertainment and your wedding dress. If you feel bogged down, check your list. Less important details should be delegated. Stay organized to stay on task regarding what is most important for your wedding day.

In order for your wedding bliss to last beyond the wedding day, establish a budget and stick to it. You don't have to spend a fortune for a beautiful, unforgettable wedding. Budgeting and prioritizing go hand in hand. Remember that you can use family members and friends to accomplish big things for your wedding. You can have elegance and affordability.

You may want to think about opening a bank account specifically for wedding expenses. This is a good way to keep within your budget and keep track of wedding expenses. This will keep small expenses from slowly and unexpectedly running up your wedding bill. If you are planning your wedding over time, leave the money in an account where it can earn interest, which may help with additional wedding expenses.
