How is the list used?

With a list, you can contact people over and over via their e-mail. This is opposed to depending on people who may only visit your promotion page one time on a random basis. To be effective, you must aim to build a relationship with the people on your list. You do this by sending them good quality information and advice. Then, once you have gained their trust, you can occasionally send them a product offer.

Why is List Building Beneficial?

People who randomly visit your sales page are normally not familiar with you and may be a tougher sale. People on your list who are familiar with you are easier to sell. List building can be time-consuming but the results are well worth the effort. The ability to contact people over and over again increases each customer's lifetime value immensely.
